The research background includes but not limited to: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, control and instrumentation, mechatronics, biomedical engineering or a relevant field. Post-Doctoral Research Fellows
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research (e.g. high quality journal publications, technology transfers, academic awards, etc.)
- Outstanding skills of defining, analyzing and solving complex engineering problems
- Advanced skills in robotic system design, integration and experimental verification
- Strong English communication skills in technical documentation and academic presentation
Researchers (Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer)
- Bachelor degree and/or master degree
- Interest in design and control of electromechanical components including actuators, sensors, motion converting transmissions
- Interest in robot applications including wearable interfaces, robot-hand, high-precision surgical platform and instruments
- Experience in some of the following areas:
Mechanical Skills: 3D CAD modeling; drawing; rapid prototyping; machining; part assembly; hardware implementation
Electrical Skills: electronics; circuit board design/fabrication; soldering; signal processing; microcontroller, wireless communication
Programming Skills: C++; LabVIEW; MATLAB/Simulink
Graduate Students
- Bachelor degree and/or master degree
- Interest in research and development of mechatronic components for robot applications
- Interest in graduate course of University-KIST Joint Program or KIST School, UST Program
- Good English communication skills and official English examination score
