OPPORTUNITIES

[NOTE] Now, we have 3 open positions:

- 1 for Researcher and 2 for Graduate students .


We are looking for most-talented and highly self-motivated post-docs, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students to participate in our research projects. The research background includes but not limited to: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, control and instrumentation, mechatronics, biomedical engineering or a relevant field. Requirements 

- Demonstrated record of excellence in research (e.g. high quality journal publications, technology transfers, academic awards, etc.)  

     - Outstanding skills of defining, analyzing and solving complex engineering problems 

     - Advanced skills in robotic system design, integration and experimental verification

     - Strong English communication skills in technical documentation and academic presentation

 

- Bachelor degree and/or master degree 

- Interest in design and control of electromechanical components including actuators, sensors, motion converting transmissions  

- Interest in robot applications including wearable interfaces, robot-hand, high-precision surgical platform and instruments

- Experience in some of the following areas:

   Mechanical Skills:  3D CAD modeling; drawing; rapid prototyping; machining; part assembly; hardware implementation

   Electrical Skills:  electronics; circuit board design/fabrication; soldering; signal processing; microcontroller, wireless communication

   Programming Skills:  C++; LabVIEW; MATLAB/Simulink


- Bachelor degree and/or master degree 

- Interest in research and development of mechatronic components for robot applications 

- Interest in graduate course of University-KIST Joint Program or KIST School, UST Program

- Good English communication skills and official English examination score
